Best method to combine account creation and job posting form

Hi,

I have the same question as this person: http://forums.appthemes.com/showthread.php?t=14981 which never seemed to be resolved.

We need to create a combined version of the job posting and account creation form. We want the user to be able to enter all the information about the job, as well as their desired username/password/pass confirmation all on the same form.

Do we simply need to create a child theme to do this, or would more extensive customization be required?
