Differentiating between a Company and a Recruitment Agency
Hi,
So, my website has jobs from 2 different groups of people.
1 - Studios who post their own jobs (usually done by an HR manager)
2 - Recruitment Agency - Studios will pay them to find jobs for them
For Studios, the website works fine.
However, Recruitment Agencies post on there as well, and this presents 2 issues.
Firstly, they don't always want to give away the location of the job, as job-seekers could just work it out and go to the Studio direct. As a result, Agencies tend to say things like "North-West UK" (the UK is small enough that people have a general idea of where the job will be, and so will know whether they should bother applying for the job). The issue is that the Google Maps API doesn't seem to support such general map targeting.
Is there a way to add a custom field that can be used as an alternative to the Google Maps 'field' in the job creation? And if that custom field is used, how can I make it display instead of the Location normally taken from the Google Maps selection?
2nd issue - As I said before, my clients are Studios and Recruitment Agencies. Currently, in the job loop, it'll have [Job], at [XYZ], [Date] etc. Is there a way that I can differentiate between Studios and Agncies, so that Studio postings say [Job] at [Studio], and Agency jobs say [Job] via [Agency]? Because obviously, the job is not at the Recruitment Agency, it is with their client.
Is there a way to set a selectable variable during account creation, that puts them in a particular user group, or something? I'm just spit-balling here!
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Tristan
