Fixing a color problem

I'm making edits to the blue theme, trying to replace the blue background behind the logo with grey. I can't seem to get the background column directly above the logo to match the color of the background directly behind the logo. Here is my site for reference: http://bit.ly/12gGHSI

I'm guessing it has something to do with the theme's gradient effect, which I can see in the blue theme on AppThemes demos page: http://demos.appthemes.com/

Bottom line: I need those two sections of the grey background to match, either by getting the gradient to effect both backgrounds, or by removing the gradient altogether.
