Google Location - Counties as a location
Hi,
I work with a lot of recruitment agencies, and sometimes they won't give the city or twon, but will give the county that the job is located in (e.g. Hampshire, UK or Lincolnshire, UK).
However, the Maps API that is used by Jobroller does not allow such general search terms, and insists on finding a city in the County that is searched.
For example, if a company wants to advertise a job in Merseyside (a county), typing Merseyside UK in the Job Location field will automatically default to Liverpool, England, United Kingdom. But they may not want to be that specific. When you type Merseyside UK into the actual Google Maps search engine, it actually highlights the whole county on the map - why doesn't the Jobroller Maps function do that as well?
As a temporary fix, if I just created a field that I manually input the county in, would it show up in the Search results when I search for a location nearby?
