Replacing "submit a job"

Hi again,

I've been wanting to buy the "sidebar search" plugin from the marketplace for 1 reason. I want to replace the "submit a job" on the top right with the sidebar search plugin. So the plugin shows in the top sidebar instead of the "submit a job". Now i'm certain it's possible, but I'm not entirely sure how.

I saw this thread: http://forums.appthemes.com/remove-s...listing-35493/ but that shows how to remove the button, I'd like to put the plugin in it's place. Could anyone show me the code/ line and where to place it?
