Thread: Safety of staying with 1.6.5?

Safety of staying with 1.6.5?

Hi guys.

Updates on all software usually include some kind of security update, so if I stay with 1.6.5 for a while, will it still be secure?

1.7 has been rushed out due to loads of people going on about the search feature problem but to be honest, I would rather turn off the search, and wait until a completely stable and relatively bug-free release is available. By the looks of the forum so far, it seems like there's some serious issues which need to be sorted out in 1.7.....

I dont plan on updating to 1.7 until some of the major issues have been sorted out so I'd just like to know whether it's safe to stay with 1.6.5 for the time being?
