    Destination URL With "|" (pipe) not working

    A destination URL I have as an affiliate link has a "|" in it. I will add the link here but you are welcome to remove before you post this thread:

    http://www.dreamhost.com/r.cgi?1711941|PROMOZONE82

    When this destination URL is used Dreamhost opens but the promocode is not passed and therefore I do not get the credit. I was wondering why analytics was showing up multiple clicks but Dreamhost was providing me with no clicks in their report.

    I have had to temporary change my destination URL to everything before the "|"

    But this means that the user does not get the discount with the promo code.

    Should I be posting this over in Clipper?
