Hide number of coupons for stores and categories

Still love this theme man, so efficient and functional. Excellent.

I need to know how to hide the number of coupons in each store and category from being displayed in the menus. For example, there are "stores" and "categories" menus in both the header and the footer, and beside each category store it displays the number of coupons contained in that store/category in this format "(16)" and I want to remove this from both the header and footer menus please. How do I do this?

Also, am I able to hide empty categories from the header and footer menus until they are populated with at least one coupon? This seems functionality seems to be in place for the footer menu, but empty categories are showing in the header "categories" menu and I don't see an option for hiding them.
