Make sure that show featured slider isn't unchecked!

Yes - I agree. He gave the right advice - it was just overlooked based on too much emphasis on jquery/select box chat.
Not all devs are bad. Just some are far better than others at coming forward....

Unfortunately - I fail to understand why the developer offered in this instance - poor/misleading advice.

I'm a veteran of blowing money on plugins that don't work very well.
