    In your custom CSS, put - .footer_main_res a.twit { display: none; } That MIGHT work with the Wordpress Customiser, but I use a custom css plugin and drop any codes in there.

    You can't exactly "deactivate" a theme like you can with plugins. Instead, you can activate another theme, any one of the WP twenty themes will do. Then re-activate the Classipress theme again to run...
