It can be changed using css. You just need to edit your styles.css file. Use your browsers development tools to help you locate where in the file to edit. Or use the firebug add on with Firefox.

I would advise to make a back up of everything before attempting this, as some have reported issues when updating to WP4.0. By backing up, at least if you do have issues you can go backwards....
