Can it filter search results?

Hello, I tried the plugin demo, and the only thing I wanted this plugin for doesn't seem to be supported:

When you make a normal search in the searchbar, get to the search results page and try to filter by city, it doesn't work, results don't filter. Is there any trick to make this part work or is it definitely not possible?
