I've dropped a request at the Ideas page.

But there must be a faster way to make it happen; adding a "Hire Me" button to someone's profile shouldn't be a difficult task for experienced developers....

Problem solved.
I've created a php.ini in the public_html of my cPanel-account and added the next 3 lines:

memory_limit = 512M
upload_max_filesize = 256M
post_max_size = 20M
