After updating to the 1.01 version I had to add another call to the css color in my child theme style.css

I would imagine few are wasting time on the design right now. This release was very bare bones and I think most are waiting for future updates to see where they take the designs.

No problem, also that advance search you have in sidebar is for the blog/posts not the listings.
