I'm having the same problem with WP 4.7. Only certain categories forward to dashboard or in some cases my membership package page.

I found this fix on Vantage forum by Joes: Same file in CP. Worked for me.
Find the following function in file "\vantage\includes\payments\order-draft-class.php":
And add the following line...
