It's default behaviour. The advert is not deleted when marked as sold. Only when the users choose to delete it will get removed.

Check the wordpress image options (.../wp-admin/options-media.php). You can set the size there for the large images, which are used by the colorbox and hover-previews.

I like the theme and the simplicity of it. The only i thing i would miss is the date when an ad is posted. You do seem to have a nice amount of ads and sellers on your website :)

FTP the classipress folder to public_html/wp-content/themes location. Do the same for your childtheme as well (in seperate folders off course).

At the Settings -> Read menu you have the option to disable or enable indexing by website. Its the last option on that screen :)
