An update. I am using a new free slider plugin called the Captain Slider which works better than the one stated above.

It is responsive (well, at least horizontally).

That comes from the Related Post Thumbnail plugin -- the only related post plugin that plays nicely with Vantage.

But the relevancy is way off -- just like the vantage search result is way off....

Not vantage. One look at the layout and font tells me that it is probably coming from the Geoplaces theme from Templatic.
