The built in tool only appears to accomodate coupons, posts and pages. If you have some knowledge of mysql you could potentially import data into the database from that side.

Sounds like you didn't install the patch correctly. Read the "Installing a Theme Patch" page for instructions.

When viewing your site, just do a mouse left click on your browser and click on "View Page Source" (if your are using firebox).

not necessarily................check in the viewsource to check which version of clipper you are using and if it is latest you are good to go...................

You have almost the right place. If you look a few lines below there is already an instance of #sidebar .share-box
which says display: block (line 2569 or so) and since you placed your style...

You can remove the button by adding

#sidebar .share-box {
display: none;
}

to your styles.css

Other than just clicking the logo, you could go to your wp-admin Appearance > Menus page and create a custom menu with "Home" added as a custom link (which goes to your homepage)..
