I think everytime you upgrade, you lose all your customisations, including the translations in the PO and MO files. So you would have to do that whole process again I'm afraid! I know its very time...

1. Install PoEdit.
2. Translate all references in jobroller.pot file to your german language.
3. Save as jobroller.po
4. A po and mo file will be generated when you have saved from poedit. Rename...

We have customised Jobroller to make it responsive for a client. If there's enough interest we could release this as a child theme on the marketplace.
