@eonelson,
You no need add anything at this stage.
Please, confirm, that you've never done ClassiPress php code modifications on your install.
If so, maybe you found a bug, but i'm not...
The orange post an ad button isn't a nav menu item.
Its a hard coded button by default in classipress.
You haven't done anything wrong - it's there as a standard default.
If you don't want...
Hi,
This is found in the file header.php.
It is hard coded to show up in the nav bar. The line of code looks something like this.
<a href="<?php echo CP_ADD_NEW_URL; ?>" class="obtn...
Just click the left mouse button on the needed field row and drag by holding button down.
Usual drag&drop behavior.
Yes there is an easier way, you can purchase Avanced custom fields for Classipress... the http://marketplace.appthemes.com/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-for-classipress/
Hi eonelson,
That sounds to be a good way. I think you should go ahead doing it like that.
However, i'm moving this thread to the "ClassiPress General Discussions" area for further help...
Correct, you don't. I was thinking of a different scenario.
Good to see that you got it solved and good luck with your project.
Cheers
Hi eonelson,
That's what people see on your website when they are NOT logged in ;)
When logged in, they see the 'Manage Ads' and 'Edit Profile' button.
Cheers
