I am awaiting clarification from the devs if removing the js validation in the \clipper\framework\load.php line 151 will not break the theme.

According to the devs, it will be delivered with 2.1.0 major release. A couple of users already tested the feature for debugging and further refinement.

You can do such in the meantime while I am still checking the option to find out why it is not working on your install.
