hello daftplay, I had the same problem, the solution: update the plugin ACF to 2.3.16 version. the ACF 2.3.16 runs smoothly with WP 4.5.2 + CP 3.5.5

Not a case of fixing, it's not broken. There is no built-in method for allowing your users to delete their accounts in WordPress.
