Hope it is possible. Create another username. For that new name change the role to administrator. Old one to user. Then delete old user name that you don't wanted. This how our team did in Our site...

Please double check your settings in "WP Admin -> ClassiPress -> Settings -> General tab -> Categories Menu section" - List of categories in menu, and in a page have separate settings.
