They have a renewal cost each year.. 30% of the item's initial cost but it is not mandatory. You can still use the item after 1 year... you just won't have access to future updates.

It doesn't work with WooCommerce, we have our own Payment API and there is a list of Payment gateways plugins integrated with this API.
From the looks of it, Skrill is supported.
