    $1.99 Trial for 10 days

Before we settle to purchase Classipress, we need to confirm we can set up a trial period system with this theme.

Please confirm if we wish to provide a Trial period eg. 10 days for $1.99 - could we used the coupon to get this done?

Eg we set up a Ad pack $31.99 for 10 days

Give a coupon for $30 - advertiser used and be charged only $1.99 for the first 10 days

Then automatically after 10 days, paypal will charged $31.99 right? or paypal will charged $1.99 again? We need paypal to charge $31.99 throughout.

    Can this be done?

    Hi ffox,

You can do this with a coupon and a membership.

    case 1 coupon

coupon is valid for :10 days
    coupon discount:100%

The customer can use the coupon for 10 days and all submissions will be free. After the coupon expires he will have to pay for submitting an ad according to your pricing plan.

    case 2 membership

    membership price :1.99
    membership duration :10
    membership price modifier :0

The customer will pay 1.99 to buy the membership and then he can add ads for free for 10 days. After his membership expires he will have to renew it.With memberships you have to option to set them as required and hence force customers to buy them. You can offer different membership plans and your customer can choose which one suits them better.

There is no way to automatically upgrade a membership or ad pack.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks for your kind guidance

Pls advise the after coupon ceased - will the deduction will be auto for coupon?

Eg ad pack priced as 109.90 for 15 days and a coupon of $100.00 for 15 days.

Advertser A : no coupon - pays $109.90 first 15 days. Then $109.90 automatically via paypal every next 15 days onwards
    Advertiser B : with coupon - pays $109.90 - $100.00 = $ 9.90 first 15 days. Then $109.90 AUTOMATICALLY VIA PAYPAL every next 15 days onwards

    Is above how classipress runs

There is no automatic payment/charging, all relistings are done manually.

Advertiser A will pay the first time 109.90$ and then he will have to manually relist and pay again 109.90$

Advertiser B will pay 9.90$ the first time. When his ad expires he can relist his ad with the same price he did the first time, so again he will pay 9.90$.

Since this feature is not supported by the theme you will need to modify the theme yourself or hire someone to do it for you.

Classipress limitation - your ad pack arrangemt ?

Pls help ! Why is classipress Ad arrangement is so limited?

We wanted to collect Trial for first month thinking subscription is auto paypal deduction every month

Then got confirmation it is not even auto renew every month

We read the post though we cant see the full answer - realised u have ad pack and membership.

If your classipress does not cater to our initial requirement - could you elaborate then what system you have now in tag for your customer?

We might give up our original plan and follow your arrangement

    ffox,

Please do not create new threads when there is already an open one with the same subject, it creates confusion and the support team cannot follow it easily.

If your classipress does not cater to our initial requirement - could you elaborate then what system you have now in tag for your customer?
Could you please describe more what you need?

What we hope to have is

    1) $1.99 first month trial
    2) then 2nd month $69.90 auto recurring

But it seems is not possible

We just wonder classipress must have a collection system for us

Pls tell us how yours work - we will try shift our marketing strategy and fix into your arrangement then. We believe such a prestigue theme online being named by so many as best classified theme will have some brilliant arrangement for us

    A) Ad Pack
May be give a eg says eg site A give this for visitor to hv option of .....

    B) Membership
If Site A gives membership instead of earlier Ad Pack - what is the end result?

Lastly we say there is someone in your forum selling paypal recurring module - but only for membership - think we will have to NO MATTER WHAT switch our marketing to membership strategy - but until now still cant figure out how to use membership for our site

    One Primary concerns :

We read through your forum and realised and surprise to know - all the ad will only auto withdraw after 30 days instead of auto renew - so each month our potential 10,000 advertisers must make it a habit to come up and renew

We are afraid 80% of the business will lost because of this

    This is very bad

We need your advise for a solution for this to help us to use classipress the no 1 classified theme online
