2 bugs? textfields not high enough + email-settings missing

just had a look on the demo.

    1)
on the page "edit listing info" + "event info listing" all the textfields are not high enough. when you type in your text all letters are "cut" and not seen in full heights.
and the prefilled infos (e.g. http.//) do not fit the textfields.

    2)
could not find the "email-section" in the admin area where you can edit the needed emails.

    2 bugs?
in the demo only or in the original theme?

I am unable to replicate this issue on our demo site at this time, could you please advise the browser and version you are using so that we can have a better look?

There is no specific email section, are you referring to listing/user email addresses or actual emails sent to customers? Thanks.

2 bugs? textfields not high enough + email-settings missing

    1) using firefox 21

the problem occurs with all the fields
    - title, address, phonenumber, website,twitter,facebook,tags

but other textfields look o.k. e.g. with "Get Directions from"

    2) within classipress there is a section in the admin area where you can customise your emails.
could not see this section in vantage

Thank you for the additional details, again I cannot replicate the issues with that browser, but have asked other members of our team to take a look as well.

In terms of 2) The Vantage theme does not have the email settings screen the same way that ClassiPress does. This is not a bug, it's just not currently a feature of the theme, so changes to the emails would require modification of the default theme files.

I will report back asap regarding further testing of the problems you mention. Thanks.

    this is definitely a problem

Hi - I'm glad I'm not alone in noticing this. The text input fields in the "create listing" section only look "right" when viewed using IE. Alignment of pre-inserted text and the height of the text fields doesn't look right when viewed in Firefox or Chrome. The height problem is particularly noticeable in Firefox - the text is chopped at both the top and bottom. All of the text is visible with Chrome, but the text boxes aren't as tall as with IE. The pre-inserted text drops below the bottom of the text boxes on both browsers.

Some of this wouldn't be so noticeable if it didn't look --really good-- on IE ;)

Vantage appears to be the perfect theme for my purposes. But as is, this looks a little unprofessional, so I hope this is something that can be fixed - soon.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the reminder that I needed to update this thread ;) The issue was reported to our team who have resolved it in the latest development build available to existing customers, it was definitely an issue effecting some browsers.
