    3.0 Question

Will the way that the category nav menu is setup in v3.0 allow for it to display a large number of categories and subcategories while still being able to display effectively in a web browser?

In the "Sneek Peek" screenshot (2 of 4 - with nav menu showing), the category nav menu looks great and is easy to use, however, it only contains a limited number of categories (4) and subcategories (31).

Will this nav menu still be easy to use for website visitors if a site owner has a larger number of categories (say 10 or more) and subcategories (say 10 or more)?

I'm going to assume (and probably shouldn't) that the nav menu scales horizontally and vertically as categories and subcategories are added. And ... at some point (depending on the number of cats and subcats), the width and height of that menu will be too wide or too tall to display effectively.

    Any thoughts or insight? Thanks!

PS. 3.0 looks great! I can't wait for it to come out!

    Re: 3.0 Question

I would have to say yes it will (even though I haven't seen the new version in action yet), because there are a number of us with existing ClassiPress sites who currently use a large number of categories and I doubt it would suddenly change so that we cannot operate with the upgrade.

The difficulty in answering questions relating to exactly how it looks and functions is that we haven't had a working model of 3.0 to try out yet. Though, I have confidence in the owner/developer, and the product so am not concerned that my site with more categories will look any less aesthetically pleasing than one with less. :)
