Is this still valid?

That's up to whatever the host conditions are. As long as you sign up using our link, and follow at the details as outlined in the promo page, that's all we need.

Hi Pepsi,

The hosting site also provides the ability to sign up for a monthly offer for $8. I'm trying to understand whether I would still get the 50% discount if I just sign for the first month and then cancel.

Sorry I missed your earlier question amk2010, the discount is offered by AppThemes. In some cases the hosting companies have their own promotions relating to their plan prices (such as the Hostgator one mentioned here), but that is separate to our theme promotion in that it doesn't effect the theme prices.

Our only requirement is that you sign up using the links on our page.. it's not based on how long you sign up to the hosting plans for as that is up to the hosting company themselves.
