Accept other payment gateway

Paypal does not list the Indian currency. Therefore, a person from India trying to host a classified may require to pay in $.
Paypal may charge for conversion from $ to Indian Rupee and also levy withdrawal fees? This would drive away the clients.

Therefore , is it possible to add additional gateway accepting Indian currency?

There is an option to download the Google Checkout for ClassiPress plugin (although I am unsure if this also supports Indian currency?). Outside of this, it would involve customization your part in order to implement a different payment gateway. It has been achieved by existing customers, but requires a reasonable level of coding knowledge.

I haven't personally heard of anyone mention this for Indian currency, but perhaps they may not have posted about it in the forums.

Disbale PayPal option and $

Fine. Then, is there a way to:

1. Disable the PayPal option and just use the bank transfer option.
2. Show the Indian currency against each item displayed for classifieds instead of Dollar.

1. Yes, you can definitely choose bank transfer only if you wish.

2. Yes, you can set the currency of the ads to the desired symbol/text.
