Yes, you can have multiple instances of the same category name, however each much have a unique slug
The “slug” is the URL-friendly version of the name. It is usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens
You can determine what the slug will be when setting up the category (as shown here on the
ClassiPress admin demo), and if you don't create this yourself, WordPress will automatically assign one (which you can change later if you wish). Thanks.
