Hello.

I'm looking for a system that will allow advertisers to pay for add space for specific months and be charged accordingly. For example.

The idea being that it's your birthday on 16th July 2012. You want to see what offers entertainment / party companies will be offering in July 2012. You go to the site, tap in your birthday or browse by month and get a list of all promotions that are valid for your birthday month.

Today is November 17th 2011.
Client wishes to place and add for a promotion that is active in May and August 2012 only.
The ad will be visible from now, until the end of May 2012 and then from the start if August to the end of August
The client will pay for the months that the promotion is active (2 months)


I also intend to have "featured" listings at a higher cost using the same scenario (but listed on the homepage as features)

Is this something that Classipress is capable of?

There is no option on this yet and will may require code customization to implement. The themes are not encrypted and so it can definitely be modified according to your requirements.
