Ad Space Rotation

It seems that there are two different areas of ad space for ClassiPress, the header and body ad space. Is it possible to rotate ads in these ad spaces?

I understand that html/javascript are allowed in these spaces when setting them up in the ClassiPress settings area, but suppose you used a plugin like ad manager. Ad manager plugin uses shortcode, for example [ad#adsense], where you would be able to have several different ads rotate in order to track the highest converting ads/formats. Would shortcode work in these fields or is it strictly html/javascript?

I think it would work since Classipress is basically just a theme and so a plugin with shortcode implementation will definitely function as they are intended to. I'll try the plugin myself and will post the result here.
