    Adjusting the theme

I really like the back-end and front-end functionality of the Classipress theme, but I have already purchased a look for the site that is drastically different then the provided front-end look. I would basically want to apply all of the functionality, and none of the look (although at times I would look to keep the nice JQuery front page slider you have or things like that.) What is the easiest way to accomplish this with the Classipress theme installed? Would I have to go through all of the template files and modify the HTML/CSS myself?

    Thanks

It can be done by directly modifying the HTML/CSS/PHP files however any modifications will be overwritten when update comes. You may just do it using a child theme http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes.

That's not a bad option. I think the most efficient thing for most of the style would be to keep your HTML structure and just adjust the CSS files where possible, and then make greater edits to other parts if necessary. I suppose, that way, I could just keep a back-up of that CSS file and when updates come, I imagine you won't be changing the HTML structure classes and IDs too much so I can just overwrite it. Thanks for your response.
