The theme has not been completed and released yet, so I can't really give you an answer to that specifically. You are welcome however to use the
AppThemes Ideas Exchange to indicate features you would like to see in Vantage.
Ultimately though, if it doesn't end up with the features you want, yes you can certainly hire a developer to implement any specific changes you want. We even have a
certified partners page where you can find such people/businesses. Obviously though they can't customize something that hasn't yet been released..
