    adsense revenue share

    Hi,

I would like to know whether I can use this Adsense revenue share plugin in Classipress.

    http://adsense.ayanev.com/

I would like to let show the user's Adsense ads under his own post. the user can put his Adsense ID in his profile.

    Thanks
    Frank

I can't say I have seen anyone mention this plugin specifically..Hopefully someone will respond in this thread if they have tried it. In terms of plugins in general though, we do have a recommended and tested list of these, and anything outside of the list is really up to the individual to try, but there is of course no guarantee it will be compatible.

    Thanks for your reply.
I don't have classipress yet, I appreciate if you can install the plugin to have a test?

On the plugin page it says "This plugin works with up to WordPress 2.0!" and so you may first try it with the latest version of Wordpress to see if it works.

it works. I am not sure whether it will work with Classipress, because classipress has Customized dashboard for the users. Or is it possible to add a Customized filed(for example Adsense ID) , when a user is writing a post, he can put in his Adsense ID there, and then the ads will be shown under the post.

I think it can be done since you have the option to create custom fields that are readily accessible on the submit form.

but when you write in the fields, it comes pure texts on the webpage, for adsense, it is scripts.

I think you don't need to put the whole script in the custom field. You can just have the pub id and use it on a predefined script in the theme.

Anyway, there are a lot ways to implement it though may require some degree of custom coding.
