Hello

I wondered if it would be possible to change the Classipress into an auto classifieds website?

Would it be a case of just changing the categories and the customer profile fields or would I need to find a coder to modify bits?

I believe out of the box Classipress can be used as an auto Classifieds. Aside from changing or creating the categories you can also setup the custom fields for auto related fields.

Is it possible to add the extra fields to the search box?

Such as Mileage, age etc

Yes you can add additional fields in the refine/advanced search box based on custom fields you select. You can see an example of this on the ClassiPress demo site.
