Bulk import of new ads?

ClassiPress seems to be a really great theme. I just wonder, Is it possible to make a bulk import of new ads into the database?

Actually I intend to use the plugin/script more for a directory than for a classified ads site. I'd then like to be able to import all the business names, addresses etc. right into the WP blog with ClassiPress. I suppose it's possible to add all the listings directly into the MySql database, but it would be wonderful if there's more convenient way to make a bulk import. I'm not quite sure if you can use the plugin, CSV Import, to make a bulk import. So far as I can see this plugin can only import the posts - not the ads. But I haven't investigated that in details.

I know that it's not the primary aim of ClassiPress to use it for a directory, but actually it seems better suited for this task that most other plugins/scripts I've seen.

I already own Directory Press (which has a bulk import function), and in many ways it's fine, but I like the way you can make ClassiPress display the listings (and not just the categories) right on the front page of the WP blog. I also like the very way (graphics and layout) that ClassiPress look like.

I know you can import csv files without any plugins in the stolck wordpress tools setting. But appthemes is about to release a new direcgtory theme. It should be better then anyhtbhing els on the market. If I were you you I would wait for that. It is do out any time now. its called vantage if u want to look into it

BTW, I'm not quite sure what "stolck wordpress tools setting" is. Would you mind elaborating a bit?

Stock I mean. Just mean you can upload csv files into posts with out any additional plugins
