Hi, we need to solve (by example with ClassiPress ???)

the following needs :
We want to create one classifieds website combining donation to charities.
We wonder about the possibility with "ClassiPress" to manage this.

EXAMPLES :

CASE1
FIRST STEP
Mister X has post a classified ad about a book for 100 €.
We want Mister X to choose between different charities. (proposed by us).
(In that case our website will distribute a fixed percentage of our fees to the charity choosen by mister X)

SECOND STEP
Mister Y buy the book and pay 100 € with Paypal by example too ....

How ClassiPress distribute the different amount ?


CASE2
Does an option exists to allow Mister X to choose a percentage (%) of donation ?

IF YEs how does ClassiPress distribute the different amount ?

The ClassiPress theme allows you to collect payments for ads placed, either using a fixed price per ad, price per category, or % of sellers ad price. The theme does not then have a function which allows the ad poster to collect payment via the website..this is something they arrange separately with the buyer.

So, ultimately if you're using the default theme with no specific customizations, you can collect the money for the ads listed, but allocating funds to another source from there would be something you would do separately, and not through the ClassiPress installation.

The theme is highly customizable given the coding knowledge to do so, however as described above, only part of what you ask are standard functions of the theme. I hope this clarifies things. Thanks.
