Can Clipper/Wp handle 6000+ coupons?

I plan on launching a large site that will have approx 6000 to 15000 coupons. Simple question- can WP handle that easily? Will it get laggy or crash with that many stores and coupons?Is there a practical limit as to how many coupons and stores I should add before it becomes a problem?
