Thread: Can user choose their own password?

yes Scatter, thanks for posting everything you have, it has helped me in gathering information. Because I am not a customer and I can't get a trial version, there is really no way for me to know too much about the product and if I want to purchase it . Thanks for spending the time to explain it to me.

Ok so I have installed WP user registration plug-in.

And It allows the user to choose a password, but It sends two emails to the new user.

One with generated password
One with chosen password.

I only want the chosen password to be emailed, not the generated one.

to Bkirkham23 ---> sorry , I forgot to tell that you have to disable "New User Email Setup" plugin which sent to customer the generated password.

Hey Scatter: Thank you for the info. I installed it on cpversion 3.03 w/ wp3.0 worked great. thanks again this waiting around for the new versions of cp is driving me crazy
