Presumably you're referring to categories and/or ads? WordPress has built in Import/Export tools, so if you're importing from another WordPress blog you can use this, otherwise you would have to look at plugin options for importing a file such as XML format.. Both of these methods should work in terms of initially moving them to a ClassiPress site, but you will need some knowledge of sql to migrate the categories/ads into the correct location i.e. "Posts" to "Ads".. and the fastest way is to do this is to create a custom sql query.

Hmmm.... So I will need to do some programming to have a drop down menu including let's say:

    Car brand
Car Model - this drop down menu is based on the previous -> Car brand

Did I understand it correctly ?

    Thanks,

Yes you are right with that. Your database might also need some conversion to work with Wordpress database structure as stated by pepsi.

It definitely require some serious programming work since Classipress is designed more of a general classifieds platform and not for a specific niche.

If you need some quote for its implementation you may post your requirement here WordPress Theme Services | AppThemes Forum or contact any of Appthemes certified partners Certified WordPress Theme Partners | AppThemes .
