Hi, I would like to purchase this Product but I have a question:

Under the categories, I want to add a Sub Category under each Category and this will be "Wanted" and "Offer" so that everyone posting a add can either want something or offer something. But the problem is both the Wanted and Offering category also shows up on the Main page and Category page and this I don’t want, only once they click on a specific Category do I want them To filter results in the Wanted or Offering Categories. Is this possible?

In the ClassiPress admin settings you can set the category dropdown or category page view to show only the parent category in the "Number of subcategories" option, so this means you wouldn't see the subcategories listed under each parent category initially. Is this what you mean?

At the moment all Categories and Sub Categories are showing up, in this sample I want only the "Vehicle" and "Cars < 30 000" to Show up and NOT the "I Want" or "I Offer" (ONLY 1st 2 levels of Categories to show up)

If you are trying this on the AppThemes demo site, then no it will not work because although it is a fully functioning demo, you cannot save any data or settings. What your example shows though is that you're trying to hide the grandchild categories, not the child/sub categories, and there are not specific functions for hiding these. The only way around it is if you select the category depth to show 1, but then that 1 will always have to be alphabetically above "I" want.

Is there no way to hide it within the PHP?

You mentioned you were looking to purchase ClassiPress, however since you have a site already running an older version of the theme it's not clear how you have already installed a "demo" for this, as we do not offer trial versions of our products. What happened is one of my Friends wants to sell me this theme as he bought it but never used it, so I uploaded it to check out what I can do with it and what the limitations are. Now I would like to buy the new version but I need to know if I can sort out this issue 1st

Please be sure to advise your friend that he will need to contact us if he is looking to transfer his account/theme license to you or anyone else. We do not have resellers for our themes, and as such they should not be onsold in this manner unless the license is also transferred.

What you are wanting to do is not a default function of the theme, so there are no settings for this in the ClassiPress admin which would hide categories in the way you describe. Potentially yes you can make code changes to achieve this, our themes are not encrypted so you are free to make modifications if you wish. Thanks.

Ok, If I purchase this theme would you be able to help with the PHP to make changes so this can be done?
