Category Filter Option?

Is there a way to implement a sorting/filter option under each category?

I was thinking of using US States, instead of categories since I am using a specific niche market. By doing so, I'd like to give viewers the ability to sort through each state by ratings, zip code or something else?

Rather than having them use the search and "advanced" sorting functions since most people would click directly on the category.

There is no admin option for this currently and so it will require some form of customization depending on your additional requirements. It may also be possible through the use of a plugin though I have yet to have a full grasp of your directory setup and so some form of modification will still be involved. The theme is not encrypted and so it can definitely be modified according to your requirements.
