Change Listing Info in Vantage?

A couple questions:

- I'd like to have a freemium model where businesses get their listing for free, but do not have their own page OR the page lists only limited info. Then they can get a premium listing that gives them the full page OR added info for their listing (eg. website, video, image slideshow...). Can I restrict dedicated pages to certain listings or limit the info on their pages? And can their listing include video, photo, html...? In your customer showcase the listings only feature the business contact info, overview, and reviews. Can more be added?

So then:

1) Can the admin restrict full business pages or special business listing info to premium customers?
2) Can the business go premium to add special info such as website, video, slideshow, opt in form, facebook comments or other html?

A big selling point for these businesses is their website and their samples through video and images. Featured listings don't matter so much to them. If I cannot cater to these needs then I will have to, unfortunately, choose another directory option.

Okay, so I'm checking out the demo site. Answers a number of questions lol.

So I see that videos can be added to the 'Overview' section. Good.
And that you can add in other html? (Really Good)

However...

Can other tabs be added?
Rather than having the 'Overview' super jam packed, can the business have a tab for 'Overview', 'Media', 'Deals' and 'Reviews'?

Hi Osiris, we're happy you found some of your answers from the demo, so in answer to your other questions: There is no specific function within Vantage that would restrict some users from putting information into their business profile page, and others not. In terms of adding tabs, again, there is no specific function for this to set it up from the Vantage admin dashboard, however this can certainly be achieved with some modification of the default theme code. @Pepsi...in response to your reply, I'm curious as to whether or not support would be able to help me with similar functions that you mentioned if I run into road bumps along the way. I would like to restrict certain capabilities from non-paid listing owners and allow certain capabilities to premium listings if possible.

AppThemes does not officially support customizations, so ultimately if you're looking for help specifically with making modifications to the default theme, these kinds of questions would be subject to community based support. We have an active and helpful community, but if this feature is of importance for your project, you may wish to also look at inquiring with the developers for hire on our certified partners page. I shouldn't run into any problems, I'm just wondering if I run into something that has to do with unfamiliarity with your code, whether or not your staff would be able to shine light on things for me. I understand that customizations are not covered per se, and I will have no issues with doing them myself...just curious about the occasional stumbling block here and there...if I even run into any.

To some extent our team can certainly point you in the right direction where possible, particularly if you're clarifying something that is a default function of the theme, however we are conscious of making sure customers are aware of what is officially supported and what is not.
