    Chinese support

    Hi there,

I was just wondering if classipress fully supported Chinese ?
Because this user seems left alone for few months.
I don't know if I may getting the same issue in the future. :?

    Re: Chinese support

First of all, apologies to the other user that he never received a response (I believe they are still an active member of the CP forums). From what I can see from their site, their problem has been resolved, and whether or not they ended up receiving assistance from someone here in the form of a PM or custom work hire I don't know?

In terms of actual support here, it is made up of input from us volunteer mods and other users as well as the CP owner David (who is currently busy working on getting the next release of CP out to everyone). In recent months I believe you will see more effort has been made made to step up the support so that we don't see threads going unanswered as they may have in the past.

One issue that has arisen about support is that often we are having people register and post questions for support when they have not legally purchased ClassiPress.. hence creating a workload larger than what we have been able to manage. This issue is to be addressed with the release of CP 3.0 so that legitimate customers will receive the attention they deserve.

I hope this will put your mind at ease regarding the support you will receive from us.

    Hi pepsi,

    Thanks for the reply. ;)

I think I was misleading you by the title, I meant Chinese language support on Classipress,
is it fully translated or you still working on it ?

If not, do you have any time frame for the Classipress running in Chinese ?

Hehe, still.. don't want you to think you won't get any support :D

Well assuming the list is up to date, there does not appear to currently be a Chinese language pack available.

Assuming that a ClassiPress translation into your language does not already exist, you are welcome to volunteer to create a public translation of WordPress into your native language. You will receive full credit for your work as well as a link back to your site.

    Hi again,

    impressive response :o

As I'm tight in budget for my first own bussiness,
I just wanted to know if....
you may offer me discount for Classipress if I get the Chinese translation done.

That's not my call, but I believe the term used is "volunteer" ;) :P

At the end of the day, it's a very reasonably priced product considering you'll pay once and get free upgrades forever..and note, if you buy it now, you'll get in before the price rise after v3.0 is released :D

    Re: Chinese support

    pepsi,

    Am I running a illegal demo ?
I've downloaded a copy of Classipress 2.92 demo in somewhere,
been testing it for 2 days now.

Because I saw there is a release version 2.93, so I've tried to find the demo to download
within your site, but there's none.

So I was just wondering if you ever offer a demo version for download,
    or I'm running a illegal copy ?

Very happy to hear that smoke, because no - there is no such thing as a demo version of CP you can download, only an actual working demo here on the site. Thanks for your honesty :D
