Is there a way I can setup my search by city? I am interested in purchasing the theme and just wanted to know if that feature exists out of the box?

Yes, there is an advanced search functionality in ClassiPress which appears in the category view sidebar as shown here on the ClassiPress demo site. You can search by your own pre-determined custom fields including location based. Thanks.

To add to this question if i may; i have two questions:
1- Is it possible to configure the searching to be on every page? currently the by city/country field is only on the main category page and not the subcategory.
2- Also is it possible to configure classipress for a user to view all categories in a certain city (similar to the Craigslist interface)? I intend to use this for multiple states/cities/countries and would like for users to be able to browse all categories within their locale.

1 - This would require customization on your part, but technically it could be done. There is no encryption which would prevent you from making such changes, although please note that AppThemes does not offer customization services. We have a certified partners page where you can find developers for hire who are experienced at working with our themes though.

2 - ClassiPress does not separate listings into location default, so if you're looking for something which basically gives each region/state its own set of listings you could look into a WordPress multisite setup. Thanks.
