Clarification on the email sent by David

    Hi there,

I was just hoping to get some clarification on the details in the email that David sent to people on the email list.

He mentions buying now, locking in the price and all of that....I did that and purchased the developer package.

In the email though, he mentions features that are available only to people with packages labeled, "Small Business Edition", "Professional Edition" and "Ultimate Edition". Are these simply renamed packages that are the same as the current ones? Or, have I locked in a price of a developer edition only to find that there will be a still-higher edition, "Ultimate" for which I will have to pay more?

If someone could clarify what it is that we who purchased in advance actually purchased, that would be great because it seems unclear at this point. ;)

    Thanks!

Essentially the new product mappings go as follows:

-Personal Edition (maps to Single Use License)
-Small Business Edition (maps to Single Use License no footer credit link)
-Professional Edition (maps to Developer License)
    -Ultimate Edition (Brand New)

You will always have the option to upgrade later and it will all make more sense tomorrow once I get the new product comparison chart pushed live.

All new pricing and editions will be available tomorrow (Friday) so you don't have to wait for long.

    Thanks.

I just hope that the features which have been discussed here are included in the Professional (Developer) version otherwise that would look kind of bad...to ask people to pre-purchase something and find that the features promised aren't in the version purchased and that an additional purchase is required to obtain them.

I'm looking forward to seeing the breakdown of what is in the packages, particularly Ultimate, because I'm not sure (correct me though if I'm wrong) that there was mention of something higher than the Developer level in 3.0 here on the forum. I think we who purchased the Developer package thought we were getting the full package, otherwise we may not have purchased in advance.

But the feature list will lay it all out I'm sure...looking forward to seeing that.

I received it yesterday...I think it was sent to anyone who had previously purchased or otherwise added their name to the email list.

Not sure the email should be posted by me, a user...perhaps a mod or David can post it for the people who didn't get it?

The title of the email was, "ClassiPress 3.0 - last chance before price increase" if you'd like to check your spam folders...may have been sorted in there by accident. I received mine around 3:30pm Central time in the US yesterday (Thursday).

Did not get it. Does anyone know where you can add your email to the list?
