Yes. If you purchased CP, all future updates are free including 3.0 :mrgreen:

Hi pepsi, I would like to purchase v2.9.3 today so that I may get v3.0 and all future updates for free. However, I would like David to respond and confirm that this is indeed his policy for Classipress customers.

I can confirm what pepsi has said.

In fact, David has encouraged new CP users to buy now to avoid the price increase when CP 3.0 becomes available.

But I'm sure he won't mind if you wait and pay the premium :)

My word is good on this I promise, and David is busy working on tweaks to 3.0 which is currently in beta testing stage so he isn't frequenting the forums much at the moment. Also mentioned, the fact that licence prices will increase after the release of 3.0 so it's worth buying now for that reason as well.
