ClassiPress Ad Listing Coupons

Can ClassiPress admins control which members they want to receive ad listing coupons? If an ad listing coupon is enabled via the admin dashboard, can the admin control who does and does not receive coupons?

Hi, in order to use a coupon you must present/display the coupon code.That means that you can offer by email (or any other way) the coupon code to the users you want.

Thank you for helping to answer my question. Regarding the presentation/display of the coupon codes. Does that mean that everybody that uses the site has access to the coupon information? If I want to send special private offers, is there a way to do that?

There is no built in feature in ClassiPress for this, but you can send it with an email or any other form of communication.

Thank you again for your reply. Just to clarify, published coupon codes are visible to all users of the site? There is not way to restrict access to coupon codes?

For example, if I wanted to reward purchasers of a certain membership package with a special coupon for (6) free, feature listings. There is no way to restrict coupon access to package members?

The administrator can create coupons from the back end but he has to create a page or a post to announce/offer the coupons.So to answer your questions no one will see the coupons if the administrator does not display them.

So, coupon codes are only valid if they are published in a blog post or static page? Can you think of a way to generate and deliver a coupon code to a select list of member recipients? Is it impossible?

There is no feature like this in ClassiPress, you will have to do it manually.
