Classipress & Dealing with Spam

Hello:

Hey Guys - I really want to buy Classipress...I really do because the support is awesome as evident by the timely responses on this forum. But, I can't pull the trigger for the following reason: SPAM

I found a person with a develop license or whatever to install a version for me to try it out. And even though I have a captcha and require new users to register with email password approval, I am getting tons of spam. I mean...it is insane and unbearable.

Is there a way to deal with this effectively that I haven't been able to figure out?

Going through these one by one for pages and pages is a huge waste of time and I basically find it unrealistic to continue in the current situation/condition.

Whilst we don't officially support third party plugins (and therefore cannot guarantee that all will be compatible with our themes), there are some which have been mentioned by members of the community as being useful for dealing with spam registrations such as Stop spammer registrations, wordfence, good question to name a few. You can also moderate posts to make sure ads aren't published before approval. Thanks.
